General Information: (Fishing with Ivan )

You either fly or drive to McAllen, Texas on Sunday before the trip starts. We will pick you up at the airport if you fly.

We stay in McAllen Sunday night and make the two-hour drive to the lake Monday morning. We will be at the lake and fishing by about 11:00 a.m. In December, January and February we try to make the trips 5 day trips and start fishing on Mondays.

We fish from Monday until Friday at noon. If you fly, make a 4:00 p.m. or after flight reservation on Friday so you can fly home that night.

Our trips are all inclusive (except bar tabs) after you cross the border, including meals, lodging at the Hotel Don Carlos, guides and transportation to and from the border.

The hotel has a bar. We do not pay bar tabs!

You can bring your own tackle or use ours.

You must have a valid passport!

We offer guide trips year around with Chuy Morales and you can schedule your trip for as many days as you like. Chuy's page is here.

If you take your own boat we can help with the rates at the Don Carlos Hotel.

If you take your own boat without a guide you can stay at the Don Carlos any days you choose.
